How do I know which Tamagotchi is which?

I recently purchased a Tamagotchi. I'm way new to this, so I was wondering if there was a list of them (the characters), with pictures, somewhere out there, on the forums or otherwise. This site has been a great help so far, but I'd still like to know the names and pictures of all of them.

weather you know if it is an v1 v2 or a v3 is a v1 comes with stickers to put on the tamagotchi v2 alresady is decorated with stickers and v3 has a little plastic attena on the top there is no v4 yet!!!

Oh, no, that's not what I meant, sorry. I have a Tamagotchi V3 Connection. I was wondering about the names and images for the little characters, like the little mouse guy, etc. As I said before, I'm really new to this.

I really, really, don't want to double-post, but I'm starting to dislike my Tamagotchi, because I can't tell what it is. I think I've found that the little guys are called 'Tama's, correct me if I'm wrong, but my question/s still stands. Which character (Tama) is which, Do they have names, what are they?

Yes, the tamas do have names, but it's hard to remember them all. What does your tama character look like?

He is a Toddler/Kid/Child, the stage before teenager. He floats around, and just has two legs. His head looks like a staircase on both sides.
