How do I get Mametchi?

I keep trying to get him, but I ended up getting Kuromametchi.

Sequence:

Kinotchi--> Mattaritchi--> Kilalatchi--> Kuromametchi

That was when I had Edward the Kinotchi, though. Do I have to do one care miss and get Mametchi or is there another way?

I think it has to do with the generation. When you look at a growth chart, you can see that there are two characters for each type of care: one is odd, and one is even. I believe mametchi is an odd generation character, correct me if I'm wrong. Also, if you keep the hungry and happy hearts full AT ALL TIMES, then mametchi should be yours. Since you got kuromametchi, I think you had relatively high training and friendship, but try to fill those meters too.
