So I want to get the various versions of OG P2 tama, but Japan has two different versions. All sellers on ebay don't specify which version it is. Is there a way to know by looking at the packaging or such? Maybe certain shells are certain versions? I know the egg looks different but you can't see the egg when it's still in the packaging and not turned on.

You can easily tell them apart based on the color of the shell as well as the packaging.

Version 1: Pochitchi and Sekitoritchi

-Yellow with orange details

-Clear green with sky blue buttons

-White with royal blue buttons and character art

-Aqua blue with yellow buttons, Japanese logo down side, and 2 circles with characters in them

Package features blue and yellow UFO at the top with TAMAGOTCH written in pink.

Version 2: Nyatchi and Charitchi

-Clear yellow with clear white buttons

-Dark blue with black frame, yellow buttons, and TAMAGOTCH UFO mark

-Translucent white with red buttons

-Red with white buttons and English text around frame

Package features orange and pink UFO at the top with TAMAGOTCH written in blue.

Happy hunting!
