Honey and Clone Codes not working v4.5

I just found out the trick to use codes in shop, but when I try to use the honey and clone codes the store manager stops looking surprised. The code for the clone (CAAC BBC doesnt work for me when I put it in on the second to last button © it stops taking my code. Same for the honey (BBAA ABC on that last C it stops taking my code. What do I do?

That happen to me too. You might be pressing A too many times to get the shopkeeper surprised. Make sure you only press A four times. It will make noise the first time and then three silent presses after that. I think it should work.
