Well, I know it can be annoying to lose such an important password such as the king's one, but I think I have found a way of preserving it. The password sits up for a whole minute, so, during that minute, if you don't think you will get to a pen and piece of paper in time, you can press c so it says:
SURE?
YES
NO
If you select NO, or press C, you will go back to the password. I think that will make your password last an extra minute, as it keeps refreshing it, so while you do that, you can search for something to write on. Obviously, if you are miles away from somewhere to write the password down, then that will be the end of the password, but hopefully that method will help to preserve this a bit longer.
I found this out because on my ConneXion I had already written the password down, I pressed C to go out, and the SURE? question appeared, and as I pressed C again I went back to the password. I suppose it should last an extra minute.
