hitodetchi - v4?

Okay, so I bought a Tama v4 yesterday. The packaging says v4 etc.

My tama evolved into hitodetchi, the star-shaped toddler.. Yet, how is it that all the v4 character lists and charts I have seen don't feature hitodetchi, yet the v4.5 ones do?

I'm really confused. I'm starting to even doubt that my tama is v4, and that perhaps it is magically 4.5.

I bought my tama from Argos, in the UK. Marked Bandai.

Hmm...this is odd. Does your antenna have a ball or a star on the top? The V4 antenna has a ball on the top (at least I know that the ones released in the US have this characteristic). It could be because you have a European Tamagotchi which may have different characters from the ones listed on the chart? I'm not quite sure...can someone back me up on this?

This is strange. My antennae is a star!

I don't really mind, but I'd rather know if it was a v4 or v4.5, and I'd know what character sheet to refer to.

I can't imagine this is a mistake that the manufacturer has made.

Perhaps you're right about it being because it's European or something.

Hi again! If it's a star, then it's definitely a V4.5. Maybe it was a mistake in packaging but as long as it says Bandai on the back of your Tamagotchi, it should be OK...that would explain why you have that character. :furawatchi:

oh my oh my. You must be right, because now I realise that I actually had a blue tama v4 last year. It had the round antennae, and was different to this one I think. I can't really remember much though (I have a bad memory).

oh, and my hitodetchi evolved into a teen crackertchi today. I checked the character lists of both v4 and v4.5, and this character is only on 4.5.

I am SO PLEASED. how awful that they could make such a mistake with packaging. What if I

WANTED a v4 tama?
