Hi! I'm not a really obbsessive Tama-lover (%33 on the tamagotchi addiction test), but I have a V3 and want a V4, so I decided to join. Here is my story:
When I was in 4th grade, there was a huge Tama craze going around. For months and months I wanted one. Finally, my mom went out to the store, and, using my money, bought a Tamagotchi Connection V3. I loved it! I had many Tamas until I got Bubba. Bubba was 7, I think, when he married someone from the matchmaker and had a daughter named Rose! Shortly after Rose’s kid stage she died. That ended it. Well, not totally, because that was a very brief summary of Bubba’s (and Rose’s) life, and I had a few other Tamas after Rose. But, that was the end of my longest generation. I know, that was the ONLY tama I’ve EVER had have a baby. Well, I guess I’ll tell you in a little more detail about Bubba’s life, since I have time to waste.
Like I said, the craze started early in 4th grade, I think when the Connection V2 came out, so EVERYONE but me had one (or at least all of the girls). I played with my friends, I saved up for them, I did everything to suffice my want for them until the day my mom brought mine home. She went to a store (I forget which one) and looked, I mind you, was waiting eagerly at home. Finally I got a call and she asked me which one I wanted, a camouflage one or a wavy one. I picked wavy, and soon after I brought my new egg home! I eagerly opened the package, plucked the tab out, and got a… girl… Again… a girl… I kept trying until I got a boy. Still, that was not my Bubba. After about ten times (they kept dying!!!) I got a new boy, and this one lasted! Of course him name was Bubba! So, anyway, Bubba wasn’t very needy, and he passed through life a bit on the chubby side. But on those wonderful days, weekdays, he got to see his friends for a half hour a day! A friend of mine and I tried to get ours to marry, they were at full friendship points, they kissed all of the time, but for some reason they would never mate. So, of course, Bubba spent a few more years alone, his girlfriend re-married (we found out she was seeing someone else!). Finally, when the matchmaker appeared, he chose the first wife! He then got Rose. After a few more days, he died, and Rose was left alone. Rose was very bratty and needy and died after a few days, in the teenager stage.
That’s my tama-life so far…
I'm going to ask my dad to buy new batteries for my V3 (they lasted SO long!!!), hold on... OK, he said yes. My new tamagotchi life has officially started (once he GETS the batteries!)
