Pausing can effect the tama's growth, have you paused it? If not, it may be resetting and downloading. If it's not either, then it must be a glitch............

Yes, Rey is right. You have to keep your tamagotchi on all night in order of it to change into your next form (teenager) You do not need to keep it unpaused in the daytime. Just in the night If it doesn't work, it must be a totally fake tamagotchi.
