I just recently got my tamagotchi

and everytime i put in a password it always says error.

I double check that i put EXACT username when it asks me

and i do but it still comes up as error.

Can someone PLEASE help me.

Double check that you are using 'YOUR' username and not the name you have given to the tama character. It can be a bit confusing as when you first start a new tama you have to name it twice- once with a username (which always stays the same) and then a tama name- which is just for one generation.

You can double check your username by pressing A once and then B SIX times. This scrolls through all the information in the health meter.

Yes, it IS quite confusing!

You shouldn't mistake the username with the name given to the tamagotchi, sometimes I give the tamagotchi the same name as the username...

Make sure you put the user name you enetered when you first got your V3 tama. If you forgot just press a once and then b and and keep pressing it till you see the user you enetered.
