i wanted to uploade a avvie so made mine on my computer and then i went on tamatalk and clicked on uploade a avvie so did i picked a file and uploaded it then some thing came up it said u have not uploaded a avvie i need help i have a apple mac computer is that the promlom

Well...

Did you make it on a program called "MS paint"?

 
It should not make any difference ... apple mac or not :(

The most common problem with uploading avatars is the file size or the file type that you are using.

There are guidelines on which files and sizes you can use on TamaTalk - they are written right under the area where you browse and create your link to your avvie (in the Edit Avatar Settings area). When you go back into Edit Your Avatar take a moment to look out for it.

Check that your avatar file is no bigger than 20KB and that it is one of the following file types:

.gif

.jpeg

.jpg

.png
