Do tamagotchi have to be a certain age before they can connect? I've got two boys and each time I try it fails. They both have all the hunger and happy hearts full. They are both 0 hours old.

Somebody help!

 
They have to be toddlers before they can connect. ;) wait an hour or two, it should work. <_<

That's not true, assuming this person has a Connection (not a Connexion.) My Connections can always connect, even when they are newborns. Be sure to press the middle button two times after highlighting the connect icon. It doesn't matter if the hunger/happiness hearts are full, as I have connected many times when they were empty.
