Well.

This involves:

My friend- N

My friend's friend- H

My crush- S

N asked H to ask S out for me, and H asked him out, N told me she would text back the reply.

And the reply was No- I was upset of course, but no too upset.

Im afraid of going to school tomorrow because everyone will be saying, "haha you got rejected."

I was thinking of saying, "she was joking." but then I may never have another chance with him. )):

What should I do?

when she asked him, were they in private? cuz if that is true you have nothing to worry about. Yes, it could be very true she made it up. the brave and smart thing to do would be talk to him about it.

but i doubt that he would tell anyone about it. It would be embarassing for him too ya know.

Glad I could help.

Ignore the people that make fun of you. It's not your fault, and you don't deserve to be laughed at. These things happen all the time. Just try to get over it and move on. Maybe it would help to have a face-to-face and heart-to-heart conversation with S. If you'd rather not, definitely spend time with your good friends and indulge in ice cream! It will make you feel better [: Hope this helps!!

First of all, probably no one is going to be all, "Haha, you got rejected." Everyone gets rejected at some point in their lives - you are absolutely crazy if you think no one is going to ever turn you down. So if anyone ever does say that to you, then they are probably just insecure about themselves or a past rejection - that or someone needs to help them get their ego in check.

And you definately should not tell the guy you asked out you were just joking. Wound his ego? For what? Your pride? It's not worth it, and like you said, can come back to bite you in the end.

What happened happened. Move on and enjoy school and life in general. If someone stops you tomorrow and asks you about it, just shrug and say, "It wasn't meant to be," or the sort. Everything will work out fine. :D

Don't do the whole "I was joking" thing - something like that happened to me, I on the receiving side, and I was quite angry, to say the least. :D
