HELP!

I have been best friends with a girl called Emmeline for absolutely ages!!!!!! We were completely inseparable!!! it was great and i loved it.

but then there's this new girl, elizabeth, that has come and now she is emmeline's best friend and desperate to be her best friend ever. emmeline says we are both her equal bezzies but i was her first and now i'm not.

emmeline doesnt pay attention to me or listen to me much now but she doesnt want me to go and get a new bezzie. but there are all these other girls who have always been just my friends who i now think i would like to bezzies with as well.

i don't know what to do!!!!! should i leave emmeline with elizabeth and go off with my other friends/good friends and make a new bezzie or cling to emmeline and feel sad and left out??????????????????????????

Just have a long talk with Elizabeth and work things out! I had this almost exact situation a couple of years ago, and now all 3 of us are best friends. Don't limit yourself to 1 best friend!

Contrary to your friend Emmeline's belief, someone can have more than one best friend. Try talking things out with Emmeline, and perhaps you, Emmeline, and Elizabeth can all hang out together.

Well, I just say make a few new friends, but always remind Emmeline that she will always be your BFF, and once in a while, ask if you can hang with her when she's hanging with Elizabeth too, and see if you and Elizabeth can be good friends too!

There's no rule that says you can only have one best friend. Make some more good friends and have fun! That's all that matters.

Well, don't ditch her completly, just talk to her privately and work it out. I mean, she is your bestie after all, so be completely honest. And if she does realize great! But if she doesn't well...just leave her for a little bit, and hang out with some of your other friends. She may just realize how much she misses you! Hope I helped.
