Help with tamagotchi 4u

I'm in the 2th gen, but I can't see the family tree in the notebook.... Theres just the tamatomo notebook unlocked

4U doesn't really have a family tree. Just the notebook.

The options under the chest are:

Tamatomo: Shows characters you've raised to tamatomo.

Friend list: Other 4u's you've connected with.

Commemorative photo: Connect 2 4u's to take photo.

Family Tree: Literal translation is parenting length. I think it only opens if your adult runs away. Kind of like the 'history' option on older Tama's.

Seasonal items: Download items specifically the seasonal banners for your living room.

There is no specific inbuilt generation counter on the 4u.
