Help Please!

Okay, so I hae pink eye that I've had for a while now, because I never really got rid of it. I thought that I had, and stopped using the drops only after three days when your suppoed to use them for five to seven days.

Now it has come back at me and my eye is horribly horribly pink, and it has swelled up, well atleast the part where I have bags under my eyes, yeah they have swelled up.

And one of my best friends, Nichole, is having her thirtenth birthday party tomorrow, it is a dance. But if my eye stays this way I don't think I want to go, but I don;t want to miss one of the biggest sixth grade parties of the year!

I have used my eye drops all I can today, and maybe it'll be beter when I wake up in the morning, but if I do go to the party with my eye swelled and I get made fun of, do you have any idea of what I should do??

ok i hav a few suggestions

1. if they start mockin u tell them 2 shut their mouths

2. wear sunnies

3. wear something that will take attenion off ur eyes

4. don't go fake a sicky or somehtin

Well, I think you should see a doctor if it is horribly horribly pink. Your health comes first before a party And you could ask your doctor if there is any possible way to make your eye heal faster.

Maybe you could wear an eye patch but uh, you probably won't want that.

LOL I actually though about wearing an eye patch earlier, then I slapped my self and said "No way Bailey!"

Yes my health does come before the party, but I do have the drops so if I went to the doctor they'd just give me more drops.

I think it might be better by tomorrow, and I guess no one will be able to tell because it will be a little dim in the room.

If you are worried about what other people think, remember, "The people that mind don't matter, the people that matter don't mind.".

If your friends are really your friends, they won't care if your eye is puffy!

I'm not sure it would do any good, but it can't harm it.

Try putting some ice on it and see if that helps the swelling go down.

I personally think that if it's still bad by the time of the party you shouldn't go. Pink Eye is really contagious, and you don't want to risk spreading it to anyone else.

I decided to go, my eye isn't so puffy anymore.

And since I put the drops in it it isn't contagious anymore, but people at school (Wich is people at the party) still think it is.

And tamaw/pants, your right. If they really are my friends, they won't care.

Sk I already tried ice. Hehe, it made the swelling go down for like and hour, so yeah.

I have decided to go to the party anyways!

It may be the biggest party of the year but if your eye is still pink and swelly the best choice would be not to go or else maybe you'll spread your sickness to the other kids at the party. Make a wise decision.
