Help on Avvies plz.

So I wanna use one of My own avvies, liek one of my Pics But everytime I try, it says:

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THAT PICTURE(OR SOMETHING) AS AN AVATAR OR PERSONAL PHOTO!

Help me! Is there anyway I will b able to do it? I click Browse and all hat lot, but it won't let me use one!!

The avatar is probably too big, or isn't a .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, or a .png.

What is a .gif .jpeg .png?

I have absoloutly NO clue. sorry to be a pain.

the .gif and that stuff are image types, you right click and click properties to see the image type. You might be using .bitmaps, I think.
