help...mum of new owner here

Hi there

I have bought my daughter a tamagotchi 3 for her birthday a week ago.

It is 1 apparently now and she has 4 games.

Please can you explain to me in simple terms what the password is for?

I went on to tamatown and it gave us a password, and on the pet itself there is space to type in a password, but it just says error.

I will read as much on here as I have time for now I have found the site......

Why do these things not come with an instruction manual? lol its driving me crazy!

Sorry to be such an amatuer but the fact is.......I am! lol

if its saying error, then you arent entering the passwords right.

When you first start your tama you have to give it a user name - its not the same name as the tama itself, but the username that you entered right at the beginning.

Go into your health meter - 1st icon - then scroll thru to the 6th screen and it will give you your tama's username.

When you go on TamaTown - you must also enter a username on there - it must be the same as the user name on your tama, otherwise the passwords won't work.

When you said that they don't come with instructions, they do!!! You must have thrown it away with the packaging!!!

you probably did. i almost did.

in the package i got my tama in, there was a piece of cardboard in there with "tamagotchi" on it and stuff. the instructions were behind the cardboard.

hard to see.

easy to lose.

ohhhhhhhh yes that probably happend then, we just threw everything away after her birthday.

Many thanks to you for replying, Im sure we will be asking for more help. She thought you just play a few games and the basic stuff. There is obviously far more involved!
