Not really.

The matchmaker comes at 10:30am, 3:00pm, and 7:00pm, but if you have a V4, she only stays for 10 seconds. Try setting the time to 10:29am, 2:59pm, or 6:59pm, and wait one minute, she should come. But hurry, tamagotchis on the V4 evolve into oldies at age 9 (or 10), and when you tamagotchi is an oldie, you can't get the matchmaker.'
