Help, I broke a button

Try contacting bandai. There is a spare parts request when you contact them...

I'm not sure, but in the mean time, whatever you do... DO NOT TRY PUSHING THE BUTTON WITH A PENCIL. That is how I ruined one of my pets.

yes try pushing it with something but if that doesnt go well i think you need to contact bandi.

If you have an old Tamagotchi you can take it apart (VERY CAREFULLY!) and use the buttons from it. It looks like the buttons have not changed at all since V1. You would need to use jewelry screwdrivers and be very, very careful to put everything back exactly the way it was. The buttons are one piece, a rubber thingy with three big bumps sticking out.

With my first Tam I took it apart to paint it. But it is scary, you have to put it back exactly right or you will break it so be super careful.

I also ripped out a button on my v.2. It still works fine. I got a small box and put it in there.

I just use the button and then put it back in with the tama. You can't put it on a lanyard though.

You could open up the back if you want to but there is a chance you will break it and you will have to reset it.
