Help! I am scared

First thing is that I am going to start middle school...in another school! I won't know anybody!!!!!! Since we are planning to move out of where we live right now. My parents want me to finsh my sixth grade and then we move. I won't be able to see my friends as much (although I wouldn't even if I stayed, chances are that we would have been in different teams) And I have always been scared about middle school since fourth grade. I mean the middle schools are sooooo big that it seems very simple to get lost. I need some tips to survive in middle school...or at least make new friends.

Second thing: I have forgotten how to find out sales tax. I have to do some problems on a worksheet and I forgot to take my math book home. Can you please tell me how to.

just think that ur gonna make new friends...and u are! how was the first day of skoool? that is how it is going 2 feel. and sorry i dont know the answer 4 the math thingy....im in 5th grade

Is middle school like high school? (I live in Australia, we have primary [grade1-2] and high school [grade8-12])

If it is like high school, it is very different, in heaps of ways. New teachers, new classes, new work. But overall, you will make some new friends, no matter what. I made heaps of new friends on my first day of high school (a few weeks ago) and I got to know people I didn't know much about before.

No matter what happens, YOU WILL SURVIVE!

I've been the new kid it gets really hard but sometimes this is what your going to go through when you get older. It's better to learn now.

Sorry about the math thing I only know how to find the price when you get the tax.

try to keep in contact with friends, exchange phone numbers or something. you will meet new friends anyway but it is nice to keep in touch.

tax be 17.5% to find it you find 10% of the whole, half it (5%), half it (2.5%) and add it all up (if you start with £10 it would be £10+£1+£0.5+£0.25=£11.75) remember if you wanna find the origanal price that you are starting with 117.5% you divide it by 117.5 and times it by 100, I guess...
