Oh...I guess you have a right not to know. You're new. It's where you can message somebody personally and teh message connot be seen by others. It's hard to explain. At the bttom of this post you'll see a little perso nand the word PM beside it. Click on it and you'll probably be fine from there. I PMed you.

Oh I tried putting an avatar on and it didn't work! (not the one I have now) I put a link to the avatar I wanted, pressed the update avatar button and it didn't work!! does anyone know what I did wrong?!?!

I think I know......when you find the picture you want, right click it and then there will be a small list. Click on "Save Image As...." and save it under a name. When you update an avatar, go click on "Browse" and go to you desktop from there. Double click the name of the picture then click update avtar.

Yep, it's confusing but thats the way I do it!
