my dad got me a tamagotchi Last Week Its a version 4 And Know My V4.5 Will Not Connect heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp Please (somebody remove this topic to help for new tamagotchi pet owners)

srry, i cant move the topic, but did u try to debug it??and try to dim the lights, the ir that connects them doesnt work in dirrect light. hope i helped! pm me if thats the issue.

Same thing happened with my old V1. One of the micro chips was broken but my dad fixed it. Could be that or the connection thing could just be dirty.

I Didnt do the things that you posted I Tryed To Connect In Dark Light And It Still Wouldnt Connect Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp Me please!!! And The Connection Thing Was Not Dirty And The Micro Chips Was Not Broken And I Did Not DeBug It My Tamagotchi Was Just Brand New And I Did Not Dim The Lights I Want To Connect My Tamagotchi Very Badle

i know whats wrong you are ment ot go to connect to v4 on the v4 and connect to v4 & v4.5.

i think i see the problem I Tryed On My V4 I Went To Connect On Ver.4 And On My V4.5 i went to connect on ver.4&4.5 I tryed to connect to play a game And it still did not connect i tryed to connect to give a gift And that did not work to and i tryed to connect To Visit and that did not work Is this a glicth Or a Fake Tamagotchi That Dose Not Connect To Other Tamagotchis Please Tell me What Wrong With My Brand New Tamagotchi Version 4

Explain, in full detail, what happened.

Did it say "Fail"? Or did it just go to the "Stand By" screen and then return to normal? If the latter happened, remember to press the B button on at least one of your Tamagotchi.

Try connecting them about 1-3.5 inches away from each other. You may be shoving them too close together.

Make sure to connect indoors, in normal light. Have the two Tamagotchi about 5-10cm (2-4in) away from each other. The tops should be facing each other. Don't connect in the path of anything that also uses infrared, such as a TV remote.

When you are shown the "Stand By" screen be sure to press the B button on one or both Tamagotchi and either "Proceed" or "Connect" will appear. If the "Fail" screen appears press the B button to try again. Both Tamagotchi must be on the Proceed/Connect screen before a successful connection can be made.
