Has anyone ever had problems with the eng patch for tamagotchi P's?

The english patch as in the one from mrblinky's site! I am thinking of downloading it but I'm scared that something will go wrong, which will corrupt my tamagotchi P's (like for example if the patch freezes forever)

Has anyone have any technical problems whilst patching theirs to english? Was it easy to resolve?

Also, I'm aware that mrblinky has a virtual deco pierce download --> https://mrblinky.net/tama/vdp/

Has anyone tried this? If so, how did it go?

Sorry, I dont have a P's. But if you go to "What Happened To My Tamagotchi?" and search something along the lines of "P's English Patch" i'm sure you could find something.

I've done both and had success. It's fairly simple and I've never heard of anyone having problems with it. I'd go for it.
