Hanna the Furwatchi
Chapter 6- Max and Sasha
The next morning Hanna woke up to the sound of Max and Sasha giggling. "Good morning Max and Sasha," Hanna said looking at her beautiful babies. Hanna thought about how much Joey would have loved Max and Sasha and how much he would have loved to see them. "If only you two knew Joey," Hanna said softy. Max and Sasha looked at Hanna, confused and didn't know who Joey was.
Then Katie yawned and woke up. "Good morning Hanna, and good morning Max and Sasha," Katie said making a face. "Haha hehehe," Max and Sasha laughed.
"Wake up Samantha!" Katie said throwing a pillow over her head.
"Hahaha!" Samantha laughed as she threw her pillow at Cathy. Pretty soon there was a pillow fight.
"Waahaaa! Waaaa!" Sasha cried.
"Aww, she's crying?" Katie asked looking at Sasha.
"Hmm," Hanna said getting up and getting a bottle and going over to get heated milk that the nurse provided for her. "I think she wants this," Hanna said putting the tip of the bottle into Sasha mouth. Right then, Sasha stopped crying and drank the whole bottle in a matter of minutes.
"Sure looks like it'll be tough taking care of them," Samantha said.
"You had babies, and they all lived, right?" Hanna asked.
"Yeah, but I never had twins," Samantha replied.
The room was silent for 30 seconds. "Well, if you needed any help you could always call me, Katie or Cathy. We're here for ya girl!" Samantha said smiling.
"It's good to have friends like you," Hanna said holding her arms out to hug.
"Aww," Hanna, Samantha, Katie, and Cathy all said together.
"Ok Hanna, do you want to do home now?" the nurse came and asked.
"Hm, okay, I guess I should return home," Hanna nodded.
"Ok, I will have someone send in a wheelchair and then you can come to the front desk to check out," the nurse explained.
"Ok," Hanna replied with a smile.
"Do you have all the things needed for the babies?" Katie asked.
"Yeah, me and Joey went out and bought everything we needed. We have 2 cribs, 2 bottles, a milk heater, clothes, 2 high chairs, a big play pen, toys, and a big baby bath. Oh, and 2 car seats," Hanna explained.
"Good, I would hate it if you weren't prepared," Cathy replied.
"If I wasn't, someone could baby sit while someone goes with me and bought everything," said Hanna.
Hanna, Samantha, Katie, and Cathy talked for a while and then the wheelchair finally arrived.
"Ok, here's you're wheelchair," the nurse said. Hanna got up, wraped up Max in a blue banket and Sasha in a pink blanket, got in the wheelchair, and the nurse pushed her to the front desk.
"Ok ma'am, just sign here, this states that you checked out of the hospital with your babies," the secretary explained, giving Hanna a pen. Hanna signed her full name andf then the nurse pushed her out to Katie's car.
Katie helped Hanna into the car. Hanna held Max and Sasha in her arms and watched them sleep, the whole way home. "Well that was fun, you had your babies and we got to see them," Cathy said smiling and looking at Hanna.
"I love them so much, if anything happened, I don't know what I would do," Hanna said kissing each of them on the forehead.
Hanna and Cathy watched Max and Sasha sleep the whole way to Hanna's house.
When they got there, they helped Hanna out of the car and helped her with her babies for a while. "Ok, where's their room?" Katie asked looking around.
"In here," Hanna said. The door to Max and Sasha's room was half blue, half pink. When they opened the door, half of the room was pink, and half was black, even the carpet was divided. Everything was the same on each side in the same place, only a diffrent color than the opposite.
"Wow, you really decorated this room pretty well," Samantha said looking around.
"Ok, here's Max's bed," Hanna said putting Max in the blue crib and covered him up with a matching blue banket.
"Here's Sasha," Katie said, handing Sasha to Hanna.
Hanna put Sasha in the pink crib and covered her up with a pink blanket. "Aww, they are so cute," Katie said lookign at them.
"Let's let them sleep," Hanna said walking out the door. Samantha, Katie, and Cathy walked out and went to Hanna's living room. There was a big play-pen in the corner of the living room, and there were quite a few toys in there, all ready for Sasha and Max to play with. In the kitchen, there was a pink highchair on one side of the table, and a blue highchair on the other.
"This stuff is really cute, you and Joey have a great taste in colors for your babies," Cathy said, laughing.
"Well I have to go, sorry Hanna, but I have to be at work by 10:00am and it's already 9:00. I'd better go home and get ready for work. I'll stop by after work and see how the babies are going," said Samantha.
"Ok, bye Samantha, see you later," Hanna said waving.
"See ya," Samantha waved.
"Well, I have to go too," Katie said.
"Hey, can you give me a ride home, Katie?" Cathy asked.
"Sure, come on," Katie said.
"Bye Hanna, see you later Hanna," Cathy said, hugging Hanna.
Cathy and Katie walked out and closed the door softly.
"Well, I'll call Tina and see what she's up to," Hanna said, digging into her purse for her cell phone.
Hanna got out her cell phone and dialed Tina's number, but there was no anwser. "Wow, that's weird, Tina always anwsers the phone. I know why she didn't yesterday, but she always anwsers. There's something up with her," Hanna wondered.
