GUINEA PIG FAN CLUB!

OK, everyone here knows that guinea pigs are the most ADORABLE thing on the planet! So this is a guinea pig "disscusion" (like a fan club except you can't post clubs on TT - says so in the rules). I don't actually own a guinea pig, but I have 1 hamster. I am hoping to get 2 GP's for Christmas. If it's a boy I will name it Santa, because I got it on Christmas, if it's a girl I will name it after my friend (not mentioning names). So you can post about your GP or post about GP care. (GP is guinea pig if you didn't catch on yet.)

They are Thistle and Lupin, (GIRLS) Lupin is ginger and white, and Thistle is brown!

I love guinea pigs!! We have a brown one in or class named Fudge! I get to take him home for the summer.

I used to have a REALLY light brown guinea pig named Boo Boo but he died ;_;.

Well, I had two. But one it died from a infection. The other one is happy now though. He is only very young. But he can cope and so can I now.

No one was older, I think they were fighting over being the dominant(sp?) guinea pig. Their names are Oreo and Moo Shoo.

I have THREE! (Well my family owns two of them...) The one redhead (except for a tiny white spot on his nose) male swine is named Tim or tiny tim but he is no longer small, he's HUGE now. But he was soooo tiny and cute when we got him! (we thought he was female at first ) Our first girl guinea is named Embyr (prononcer like the end part of November) dhe is kind of chocolate ice cream colored with redorange streaks! She is very dainty and proper seeming but has a good sense of humor. And *drumroll* My beautiful little piggy....PEPSI!!!! She has a sleek agouti coat and is part American and part teddy bear. Thats why her cheeks are puffy but the rest of her is sleek! She has a very prominant attitude and is not afraid to wheep her loudest for carrots and lettuce. She is MY pig and my name is on her vet sheet thing as her owner!

I have a guinea! ^^ Her name Cookie, and she's white and black, like an Oreo cookie! But my best friend had a guinea pig named Oreo (who sadly died) so I couldn't name her Oreo. So I named her Cookie! Its funny because where her hair crosses there's just a little bald spot on the very top of her head! ^^ I wish I had a picture to post, but i don't, sorry.

By the way, isn't it a shame Guinea pigs are not born with that vitamin? What was it I can't remember...

Oh, well, just wanted to say, that Lupin and Thistle don't like carrots too much, and they are SO fussy. They only eat it grated.

But they have to have it, right?

You can buy it, and put this vitamin in the guinea's water bottle and it turns it green! If it was in carrots, you'd think it'd turn a carrot colour! LOL.

i heard ur not supposed to put the vitamin tablets in the water. the vitamin can wear away also the GP might think the water tastes bad and he might never drink water again. that would be bad. also if u feed them veggies dont give veggies with lots of water in them cause it will make the poo all icky. (u know what i mean) lol. anyone wanna post pic?
