What irritates me most about these kids breaking their Tamas is the fact that most likely their parents bought it for them, and they are just destroying it anyway. It seems like taking a $20 bill that your parents gave you and burning it because you feel like it. I think for me it's a lack of respect thing.

If, on the other hand, the destroyer actually purchased the Tama with their own money, it's their choice. Their are far better things to do with your Tama after you get tired of it, someone else would certainly enjoy having it. But, not everyone shares this opinion, so it's up to them.

Well, I personally agree with Sweet Kandi and Aubrey Hepburn. Yes, it is there's and they are a toy so they do not feel it. And it was their money they have wasted. And aswell, it might be a fake one they were destroying not a real tamagotchi.
