Good old phone with infrared, or good irda for transfer?

I buy an IRDA usb few weeks ago, but it's never work, i installing the english patch and only ONE wallpaper during 5 hours, it's very very veryyyyy irritating.

I ordered a new P's, so i must install the patch again.

I think to buy an older phone for transfer, i think is much easier.

Which phone is easy and cheap to transfer downloads ? or wich usb irda ?

If you managed to download a few items, then I suggest you to not buy a phone. Maybe there's just something you're doing wrong, since you've managed to download some items.

Don't download on the first go, wait for the tamagotchi to disconnect and connect it once again. Make sure you time it right since the notification will just appear for a few seconds. Make sure you send it once the notification appears.
