Good days to go on Tama Town

Okay on the first of August I went on Tama Town. When I went to the mall they gave me a car as a sovineer. (Sorry I didn't spell it right) Then on the third if you go in the music store, I think they will give you a golden record. I have a 4.5 so I don't know if it works for other versions.

does it occur every 1st and 3rd of the month or only august?

i change my computer date and only get the car but not the golden disk

maybe the golden disk don't work on v4
