going to wild rivers

ok i have a secret of mine, ok im a really adventuras person and i am tough and stuff like that but when in comes to roller coasters a huge water slides, well those are my only fears. our class iz going to wild rivers at the end of the year and i really want to go cuz it looks fun but evry on iz gonna go on the huge water slides and if they figure out that i am afraid of it (especailly the boys) i dont know what i would do, it would just be humiliating! also im afraid to let the other boys see me in a bathing suit cuz im self consios about my thiegs

1. If you think your fear wouldn't interfear w/ having fun, try going. Who knows? Maybe you'll conquer your fear!

2. Everyone has something they don't like about their body. If you go, try not to focus on what your theigs look like, instead how much fun you'll have.

About the thigh thing...

The best thing to do is get a bathing suit that has a cover-up skirt or just get a two-piece/tankini that has shorts on it.

Trust me, it works well.

at walmart they have girl trunks =]

i like them.

and on big rides, just close you eyes.

it makes things seem calmer for me.

I'd say the best thing for you to do is try your best to face your fear. This might help you become less afraid of roller coasters and waterslides and the like.

If that fails, just be honest and say you are afraid of roller coasters and waterslides.

With the thing about the guys, if they're of good quality they may note that you are afraid of such rollercoasters, but they would know that what really matters is intellect, kindness, sense of humor, et cetera, and not your thighs.
