:hitodetchi: Hi every1!!! I am twelve years old and I have a confession to make...okay it's not eggzactly a mustache. It is hairless (thx to Nair hair removing cream...XD)...but there is this dark line thingy and I want to get rid of it...and my mom would nevr take me 2 get it waxd...so it would really help me if I could have some suggestions!!! Removing the hair will make it darker and more coarse :/

I have a few dark hairs on the sides of my lips. It's nothing to really worry about.

Unless it's like black, coarse, and stretches over the whole lip, don't bother with it. A lot of women have that.

 
Don't worry about it. A lot of girls, (including msyelf) have the same problem. You can buy little kits at your local drug store that come with wax strips so you can wax yourself. I think it's easier that way. Most of the time, though, nobody will ever notice your "stache" problem.

 
You could always try plucking it with tweezers when the hair grows back . I don't have any dark upper lip hair, but I've always hated how my underarms still look dark even after I have shaved them. :) It is fairly noticeable because I am fair-skinned. Soo...I bought a waxing kit at Wal-Mart...and waxed my own underarms. It hurt, but it was worth it. I didn't have any darkness left, and I didn't have to shave for nearly 3 weeks. :( I had to pluck out the stray hairs that I couldn't remove with the wax, and they were gone for almost a s long as the hairs I had waxed out.

So, I think you should try plucking the hairs out when they grow back in. It works, and gets rid of the darkness of the hair follicles. :p

No, this is a common myth, the hair will not grow back "darker, and coarse" it appears that way when you first see the hair, but as soon as it grows, it will be fine hair.

I think depending on where the hair is coming from, this statement is true. I think with the stache thing, I get facial hair sometimes too. I just swipe it a couple times with a razor after I shaved my legs or something and it does the same job. Hasn't grown back courser.

My leg hair tends to be courser as it gets longer when shaving so last few months I've been using Nair to get rid of the hair without shaving and it seems to help with that. Perhaps if the hair on your face does a bit thicker-like, you might be able to find lotions or creams like my Nair stuff to get rid of it and thin the hairs out a bit?

My eyebrows come back darker D:

My mom's friend used to shave her peachfuzz on her upper lip and chin :/ She now gets a 5 o'clock shadow.

It does happen, I guess it just depends on the person.

 
I would ask and talk to your mom about it. :)

I know.. (Well, I met) this lady who had a biggggg mustache. It was very hairy. I thought she was a man for a molment, but then she had long hair and a high voice.

You see, that lady didn't really care what she looked like! :lol: I still feel amazed about that, though.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't be embarrassed, though. Its totally normal to be embarrassed about it.

You have peachfuzz on a lot of your body xP It's just not obvious.

Like if you feel your cheeks, it's there too. Nothing to worry about though. It's something everyone has.

 
Okay I'll try getting a waxin kit or something (not right now tho cuz it snowed like five inches)...oh and peepl do sumtimez tease me about it. Like this guy that I don't even kno who was really rude started teasing me for no reason and he teased me about how my feet were ashy and how i had a stache...other peeps hav also said stuffs about it...so yeah. And the big dark line does stretch over my whole lip...not just the sides....it's hairless though.

Yes, I agree, tweezing might be a good idea. ;) Don't be embarrased, it's actually quite normal to get this. Those people, they are just plain nasty. Listen to those who make your days bright, not dark. Comments like that are senseless. For the best tweezing results, if that's what you decide, do it after you come out of your shower/bath, when your follicles are wide-open. This is effective, as the pulling will most likely be like painful. And henestly, if you have very fair hair, I think that the hair growing back should'nt be much darker. A gentle creme facial hair remover should work. After all, is'nt that what it's meant for? :eek: But I'm no expert, so ask somebody who you think would know what to do, like your parents, older sister, etc. ;)

LMAO! But yeah I guess it's not that bad! I kno a lot peepl have it wayyy wors than me so yeah...I guess this isn't really a big deal...but it wulld still help if i cud get advis cuz it still is sorta bothern me still...I little. You see, I'm actually not ugly. I have pretty eyes, fair skin, nice hips, hair and everything. THE ONLY THING BAD ABOUT ME IS THE STACHE WHICH IS WHY I NEED ADVICE! So pweez help me!

we're Mammals. We have hair all around our bodies... for me i have dark brown hair.. i have little dark hairs... on my lip like a moustache.... but you can only see if you come really closeeee
