I'm on my 6th right now. Anyone have/had a high number of genrations? Also, how long do the batteries last in accordance with the genration, based on personal experience, I mean.

Hi

I've managed to get to Gen6 with one (and was feeling pretty smug about it until I saw Flint26's post - respect...!)

From what I've read on this forum, batteries last different lengths of time depending on how long / how often you pause your Tama - it's different for everyone!

I've bought some spare batteries for my 3 tamagotchis and kept them to hand (just in case...), so that if one of them needs emergency CPR, I don't have to rush out to the shops!

Gen1=Transluscent Orange Connect.

Gen6 = Yellow Tama Connex.

Gen 2 = Blue Tama Connex. (would have been G6 too, except for a slight accident with a 6yr old boy who wiped its memory when he re-set it to get an egg....)

TIP: Don't let other people play with your Tama or let them 'Show you how to do this...' with your Tama(!) Instead, get them to show you on their own Tama....
