How can I get my tamagotchi's gen. to go up without another tamagotchi. is it possible?

Yea its possible, when it gets older the Matchmaker will come and maybe give you a compatible tamagotchi to hook up with. If you accept the tamagotchi, they will mate and have a baby immediately.

(if you have a US connection, this will occur at age 12)

So my tama dusnt need to have hooked up to any other tamagotchies?

Actually if you don't pause, this will occur at age 6.

or u can connect them so they have babies ( ^-^) and create new generations!

yes it is possible the matchmaker (an old looking tama) should come and ask for love if you say yes and choose whatever tama she brings they will mate and you cn start the next genaration.
