Hi, my girlfriend and i recently bought a tama each. but both of ours are female. i tried reseting mine to get a male, but after a few attempts i still ended up with a female. are they programmed to only have one sex, or am i just unlucky? i want a male so we can have tamababies... if it helps, we both have the ones with IR, hers is black, mine is white with yellow buttons.

No they are not gender specific. You perhaps are just unlucky. Keep trying. With my first one it took 5 times of resetting till I got a male. So keep trying, and you'll get it.

on my sixth try i got a female. so keep trying and tell ur gf to put hers on pause so they'll be at the same stages.
