Gen 2 Tamagotchi is 8yrs old and not an adult yet.

I have not had a tamagotchi in 20 years and bought one a week ago. Named her Olive and she's 8yrs old and still a teen, is that normal? I thought she would have evolved into an adult by now. I have no idea about gen 2 or it's evolution timeliness or anything like that.

To add to this, messing with the time in general can make its age look older than its actual growth cycle. Everytime it wakes up, the age counter goes up. Doesn’t matter if it is within 5 min or 24 hours, but it doesn’t affect the actual growth at all.

I know this is a late reply, but I figured I would add this tidbit for anyone else that might have the same problem.
