Gen 1 Fan returning! Tamagotchi, Animal Crossing Kawaii galore!

I am delighted to find this forum!

I loved my Tamagotchi in the 90s' and am trying to find one on ebay after seeing them in a retro store. (They sold out at the retro store only a couple of weeks after I returned to buy one )

Feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the versions, and the cost of the originals. I'm to make a thread asking for advice, I've already read a few of these by other members when lurking & still have some questions.

I'm also a BIG Animal Crossing fan, I've played through all the games except Wild World. I love cute things & any games with a friendship/pet aspect--basically I like having the opportunity to befriend cute animals or people in an adorable fantasy world.
I've been playing New Leaf since 2015 and LOVE Tangy who is a cute little cat with a leaf on her head!

I've recently been on a KAWAII + NOSTALGIA hunt on ebay, researching Tamagotchis, bought a Seamonkey tank "Magic Castle" and nurturing my inner child big time.

My favourite Tamagotchi personality off the Tamawiki (besides my user name!) is Tsunochi! Lovelitchi from the anime is gorgeous!
