Dear Mom,
I got a tour from an old man(who was incredibly fast) in Cherrygrove town. He showed me what the Poke-Mart, Pokemon Center, and even the ocean. It was an amazing sight! I trained on Route 30 with my Chikorita who I have finally named Happa(based off the Japanese way of saying leaf). I found Mr. Pokemon's house and Prof. Oak was there! I was surprised! He gave me a Pokedex and Mr. Pokemon gave me an egg. As soon as I left, Prof. Elm told me the lab had been robbed! I quickly ran as fast as I could down as I could, but got stopped by this weird kid with red hair. He had a bored face and said my pokemon was to good for me! How rude! We had a battle, I won, and saw his card as he dropped it. He snatched it from me and worried about me seeing his name. Weird. Anyway, that's all for today. Bye!
