Got some fakes from Made-In-China.com

1. This one claims to be a V4, but has a touch screen. A V4 doesn't have a touch screen

2. This one might be real, but has a fake character.

3. This one is clearly fake. For starters, it says 'Touch Pet' under the buttons. Secondly, it hardly looks like a Tamagotchi!

My advice? Stay away from Made-In-China.com

BTW. Tamagotchis are made in Japan, not China. So why go there anyway?

Great finds! :kusatchi: Just so you know, on the back of pretty much all the Tamagotchi units, it says "Made in China," and those aren't fake. It's true that Bandai is a Japanese toy-making company but perhaps they get the materials and labor from China in order to manufacture the toys. So I wouldn't use where a Tamagotchi is made solely as basis for whether or not it's fake. The most surefire way to tell if it's a genuine Tamagotchi is to check to see if the package (or the egg itself, if you don't have the package) says Bandai and the year it was made or has the Bandai logo on it.

P.S. Who WOULDN'T want to go to China? It's absolutely rich in culture and history. ;)
