Face of Boe/ Jack theory

Captain Jack Harkness - love of my life - unfortunately turns into a giant face in about a billion years but Doctor Who is a time travelling telly series, so it means nothing.

So I'm absolutely devastated about this. But I wish to share my theory about how this gorgeous man turned into a big-headed mysterious head who lives in a jar. (No offence. I love the Face. Really).

Well, do you remember in Gridlock when Brannigan said about the woman who痴 head grew 50 feet tall after breathing in the fumes of the motorway?

Well he may not have been joking. Jack may have done that, and his head may have grown.

So why hasn稚 he got a body, I hear you ask.

Well, he probably got decapitated, came back to life, and never found his body.

So why is his nose so big, I hear you ask.

Nose job gone wrong? Or perhaps it just came free with the head enlargement.

i just had the most amazing brain wave that could mean ur whole theory is relative to the show! What if just like the Doctor in Last Of The Time Lords, Jack had shrunk down to a gollum-like creature and maybe, just maybe over the billions of years he'd been alive his body learnt to adapt to its new surroundings when he re-generated/lives again. So, the whole his head grew by 50 feet thing is true and his body was crushed under the weight of the head, therefore compacting his frame into part of his head so theres no "why won't there be a gaping hole in his head if he was de-capitated" questions. Maybe just maybe, he lives in the gas chamber because his body (per se) adapted to breathing the motorway fumes when he re-generated. And the doctor left too soon to find out whether Jack/Boe had once again adapted to the new surroundings and wil maybe develop into some ne creature or some amazing ethereal being!
