English TMGC ON App x Sanrio Meets Presents?

Alright, so I have the Sanrio Tamagotchi Meets (JPN Only) and the Tamagotchi On App (American User), and they CAN connect together! (Yay!). However, I can't seem to send any presents or gotchi points back onto my Sanrio Meets. Im assuming the presents may be region locked, or there's just some connection issue happening? It's a shame though, it would be really beneficial to send GP back onto the Sanrio Meets because the games on it are a bit difficult/long (Quiz game that takes too long even with a cheat sheet) and the puzzle matching game takes too long as well. 

Does anyone know if there's just no possibility to send presents back from the American Version of the App?

Yeah, I have a sanrio meets and it can recieve presents and gotchi points from the Tamagotchi ON App.
