English patching a P's with USB?

I just got a P's today for Christmas, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what brand/type of IrDA USB they used to English patch their tama. A link would be appreciated!

Hi! I used an old phone with infrared, it works pretty well and you can use it as a spare phone too

I used a really really old laptop with infrared port, but I think pretty much any device that can both send and receive via infrared will do ~ I think the best option would be to try and get an old phone with infrareds.

I definitely recommend finding an old phone with infrared. The Nokia I picked up cheap works perfectly. I've heard a lot of people have had issues trying to use IrDA USB devices.

I downloaded the downloads to my smartphone and sent them to my old phone with infrared by bluetooth. why does it fail to send?

EDIT: I used downloads like wallpapers and games but when I tried to download the english patch, it succeeded. Were the wallpapers or games corrupted files?
