The Clone Found Tyler’s password for her Tamatalk account and many other of Tyler’s deep, dark, secrets.
The Clone knew that Tyler has a boyfriend called Simon Smith who was a Kuromametchi; so she hacked Tyler’s Tamatalk account and Private Messaged Simon, pretending to be Tyler. She wrote very offensive insults that she knew will guarantee Tyler a misurable life
She Private Messaged all of Tyler’s friends about how much she hated them and hid Tyler’s diary in a hidden compartment she made by prising off a few planks off of the floor under the rug in her bedroom.
Meanwhile… at school, Tyler felt questions nag at her at the back of her mind;
Why did I activate the clone so soon?
Will she behave?
Can I trust her?
Will she try to kill me and take over my life, like clones and doppelgangers do in books?
Is this really happening??
After the teacher dismissed the class, Tyler went onto the bus and sat in awkward silence until she arrived at the right bus stop. She rushed into the house and quickly made herself a peanut butter sandwich and went upstairs. When she opened the door to her bedroom she found her Clone still there, tapping merrily away on the computer while she sipped a cup of hot chocolate.
“Hi, I’m back. What have you been doing?” Tyler asked.
“Errr....I am just writing a story” The clone replied, with a red glint in her eye
Tyler saw the red gleam in her eye and told herself that it was just the trick of the light.
“Can I see what you’re typ-“Before she could finish her sentence the clone logged out of the account before you could say ‘Doppelganger’.
“Oh, sorry.”
“It’s okay”
The clone left the room and went into the garden.
She went to the part of the garden behind the shed and found a deadly nightshade plant. The clone took out a perfume bottle out of her pocket she stole from Emmelyne’s room and emptied all of its contents onto the grass and filled it with the juice extracted from the deadly nightshade berries, for later use….
