Do you read pinned posts?

Do you read pinned posts? If so, why? Did you get in trouble? Did you just know it was the right thing to do?

If you don't...why not? Is it overwhelming? Is it laziness?

I am not looking for the "ideal" answer and you will not be judged if you choose to reply.

This is just a thread that will hopefully give some clues as to what needs to be done to get the important stuff read!

Yes, because they are most of the time interesting! example: V4 character chart, V4 shop list, and more.

no i dont but its because i can figure out the rules just by reading the title and i know the basic rules like no spamming no swearing and stuff

Yes I do, but only in the fourms I post in The reason that I read them is because I think that when you join a forum community, you have to abid it's rules. I hate breaking rules, and so should everybody. Rules are set not just to get you upset and saying "why cant i do that!??" but because for your own (and everybody elses) good.

I feel like Tamatalk is a second hoem to me. Do I break rules at my own home? No. Do I break them at school because I think I'd be funny? No. So why would I do it here? I'd rather read the pinned-topics then take the risk.

If pinned Topics are the ones that are the locked ones over the forum or something, telling them the rules or just some tips, than sometimes.

I onley read them on forums that I am not farmiliar with, like the Tama Logs I just started one and I read the pinned topic

When I first joined TamaTalk, I remember reading the Pinned Topics in Non TamaTalk, and Tips and Tricks. I think I've read them all now.

I have read all of them. Sometimes if theres no where to post I'll just read them But when I was a newbie here, I didnt have any idea what a pinned topic was? I didnt know the difference so sometimes I spammed and used ALOT of text talk. But hey! I was a newbie!

I read them sometimes. If I am not clear on the guidelines of a subject (i.e. Bumping, when is it right and when is it wrong) then I go look for a topic that would explain. But I pretty much figured out most of the rules without the pinned topics so I don't normally read them.

I read Pinned Topics regulary since they get changed sometimes. I read them so I don't get bad karma, or unfollow any of the rules

But I basically know all the rules, because I read them a while ago. But sometimes I get a little lazy...

I read new pinned posts. They might be introducing new rules.
