do you have a pet caterpillar I do I had two before but they turned into butterflys and flyed away in my backyard and now I have another and I named it Luanna I like them because I like watching them move and I like to see them as a butterfly

Lol! No.

But I used to when I was younger! (;

My friends and I would all have so many of them! We would poke holes into containers...

Then put them inside...Get some leafs for them...Such fun! ^.^~♥

yha there pretty cool the caterpillar I have is gonna turn into a painted lady butterfly

That sounds cool. But I never had. My sister had a few caterpillars she got by mail with instructions inside the habitat she bought to raise them to be painted lady butterflies. They all hatched, and we released them into the wild. We were sad to see them go... and even though I'm 12, it would be fun to have some caterpillars or something. The fuzzy green kind would be nice! They're cute, and they don't bite and you can feed them and help them grow! What fun!

yha before I had two yellow ones with black stries I named them Ossy and Axle the new one is just black and its name is Luanna

Lol. No, but it sounds fun! ^^ I might try that sometime, if I can find a catterpillar.

lol when my dad was little he was a only child and my nana asked him for a little brother or a caterpillar.......he picked a caterpillar

Yes, I'm a HUGE bug freak. I could make like a mini-zoo

with how many bugs I have. A little tip for those who want to keep

caterpillars, use the same leaf you found them on. If they were on the ground, do some

research. I keep Preying Mantids, caterpillars, beetles, ants, spiders, and termites.

my caerpillar is forming into its crysilis and its like moving around so weirdly and its creaping me out

I have had a caterpiller. It turned into a butterfly and my granny let it go. I remember even where I found that caterpiller. <3

Trust me...its normal. Check on it in a few hours, and if you see a lot of

silk surrounding the caterpillar, its a cocoon and will turn out to be a moth.

However, if it has a hard shell surrounding the caterpillar, it is a chrysalis and will

form into a butterfly. It moves around so weird so it can wrap the silk around it.

You must be my long lost twin sister.

Bugs RULE ME.

I had a caterpillar last year named Heria.

Me and this kid named Kyle's caterpillars were the first chrysallis.

They were soooo funny looking! XD

Bugs are funnnnn!

A chrysallis is normal. It's wiggling like crazy

NOT because it is doing the worm (bug humor)

but because it is shedding it's skin.

Make sure the chrysallis doesn't drop; when in the chrysallis they

turn into goop and then somehow form to a butterfly.
