I think I'm the only kind in the world. I'm not quite sure but I think I am. My name is Marina, 12 turning 13 pretty soon. I might look like a normall girl and walk around and gossip and joke and do what an average almost teen does.
But I think differently and never show my true self to anyone, not even my parents. The lord might know but he can't one day appear and tell everyone about my true identity can he? He can only watch over us and never cause commotion.
I always think weird thoughts like: Why did God make us? or What would happen if he didn't make us? Would the universe be a pitch, dark place where life form could never be found? What was life supposed to be made out of?
This might be what an average person thought of but wasn't thorouly thought of. It might just be a tiny question squished tightly to the corner of your mind. Hardly ever seen...
I think about all those things. Including other things. What would the world be like if everyone understood the importance of life and treated everyone as family, as an equal?
If you ever walked into a shopping centre and smiled at everyone who passed you, only a few would return the smile those were the ones who were friendly and understood. Most of them would just put an ignorant expression on their faces and move on. They couldn't care less. They act friendly to the people around them, the familiar people but would never draw any attention to others or make friendly gestures like they do to their kind.
Once upon a time in a far away land, almost everyone treated others as their equal but now, the world is crumbling away. Cars let out exhaust fumes, the hole in the ozone layer becomes larger every second. Humans destroy the planet, some do not care while others do but have no choice but to let these exhaust fumes pollute our world...
When I'm sitting in a driving car and other cars zoom past us. I always think of all the exhaust fumes getting put out into the atmosphere. I always look up to the sky to see signs of over pollution. I always think that in another 5 years time, the world might be a cloudy placve because of the pollution and not the beautiful world that we live in now...
