What is debugging, anyway? Do the new TC's get electrical faults or something?

debugging is when you unscrew the back and scrach pencil lead to connect 2 half circles under "DEBUGG". When tamagotchi dies, you can pick ANY tama!!! I tried, but now, when I press "C" when Homer is doing nothing, time speeds way up!!!!! I'm on 12th generation because of this.
