I just got my tamagotchi ( tama- go) and my avatar is six years old but the dating place hasn't showed up why is that?

It may just be as simple as you waiting a little bit longer. The Dating Place typically shows up about a full 48 unpaused hours after your Tamagotchi evolved into adult.

Yes, the Date place was first available for my Marotchi when she was seven just keep your tama unpaused (Set time to midnight instead of pausing).

I believe that your tamagotchi on the Tama-Go tends to live a longer life(when still producing new generations), so it gets married later. My tamagotchi on the Music Star usually leaves at around 7 years old (leaving its child with me) and my tamagotchi on the Tama-Go leaves at age 10. I guess that's just how it works.
