Connection Characters on the P's

I want to get Harptchi but do i have to do a 3-way connection to get her? I'm confused with what it say's on the growth chart

Yes, you'll need to perform a 3- or 4- way connection to friends and you'll have to do it 5 times or more; similar to Shirimotchi (the minion-looking guy).
