connecting to other tamagotchi

can someone pls help? both my friend and i select the option and get to the screen "stand by" but then nothing happens. we even tried selecting the same option "game" or "present" or "visit" but still nothing happens. i wonder if maybe we're holding the tamagotchi wrong? we replicated the picture in the manual but still to no avail.

i appreciate the help in advance. thx.

When the STAND BY screen appears press the B button. It should say Connect and there you go :furawatchi: .

Go to the connect icon, you must both select the same thing ( game, present or visit) push button B, standby will appear, push button button B again and it will say connect, there you go!.

If you follow Locky or TamaBloom's instructions, it will work probably. If it is says 'Fail', try again. If that says 'FAIL' again, try resetting and downloading both of your tamagotchis. Try again, and that may set it off h34r:
