so do they have to be a certain age before you can use the connection thing?? mine and my friends wont connect....something wrong with one of them?

A V2 can connect at any age a V1 it has to be atleast a child

2) Well, it depends. As far as I know, V2s of any kind can connect at any age to most Tamagotchis.

V1 ConneXions cannot connect when they are babies though.

I don't think Pluses can connect to European and USA tamas.
