Connect From How Far

K how far can Tama's connect from? Not very far hey? Does anyone know if you can just leave your thing on and if someone close connects if it will work? Hopefully! I really wish they could connect from further? like a mile or something! That would be awesome!!!!!

Well, my tamagotchis connect if i cover both the infared senders, and i can do it prtty far away...

It should be a few inches apart when you connect. Thats how it works best. After it says "Stand By..." it'll say "Connect" and when that screen goes away & your pet comes back up you can go far away, but while that screen is on you have to be close.
